New Christmas One Shot Adventure Pack Lands on D&D Beyond

The holidays are about to get a little more merry and monstrous, with D&D Beyond recently releasing the One-Shot Wonders: Holiday Adventure Pack. This new collection features five adventures from Roll & Play Press that require minimal DM prep and can be completed in a single seasonal session. The adventures cover Levels 1 to 12 and include new maps, magic items, monster stat blocks and ev en playable species, all of which are wrapped up in a Yuletide package on D&D Beyond.

The new pack is part of a growing demand for DnD Christmas one shots and also represents another major collaboration between Roll & Play Press and Wizards of the Coast, following the release of their previous One-Shot Wonders collection on D&D Beyond back in May of 2025.

So are these new adventures a D&D gift that keeps on giving? Below, we unwrap all the details.

What’s included in the One-Shot Wonder Holiday Adventure Pack?

The new adventure pack includes the following:

  • 5 adventures: One for Level 1–2, one for Level 3–4, one for Level 5–6, one for Level 7–8, and one Level 11–12. Each can be completed in about three hours and requires minimal DM prep time. The book also includes DM tips on how to scale the difficulty up or down depending on your group.
  • 5 battlemaps: Including a toy factory, ice castle and banquet hall, all of which were designed by Venatus Maps and which can also be ported over for online play via the D&D Beyond Maps VTT
  • 3 new monsters: The Great Fir Drake, Pudding Gremlins and Snow Sphinx, each of which includes art, stats and lore.
  • 4 playable species: The Frosty inspired Snowborn, the humanoid reindeer Tarandus, the humanoid Christmas tree Hederan and the snow fox humanoid Canisar.
  • 12 magic items: All of which are based on the Twelve Days of Christmas

Notably, the pack also includes original artwork by Rafa Teruel and Adrian Pamplona.

How much is One-Shot Wonder Holiday Adventure Pack on D&D Beyond?

The new adventure pack retails for $14.99 USD on D&D Beyond. That works out to about $3 per adventure, which is a solid price point and about what you’d expect to pay on DMsGuild for comparable high quality, well reviewed one shots. It’s also worth noting that the four species retail for about $8 USD each on Roll & Play Press, and are included here (with full integration with D&D Beyond’s character builder), so this is actually a pretty solid price point all things considered.

Who is Roll & Play Press?

Roll & Play Press is an third-party RPG publisher based in London, UK. The company started in 2020 after launching a successful Kickstarter for The Game Master’s Fantasy Toolkit and has since released a number of other similar products and accessories that are designed to help players and DMs run more efficient games.

Their most popular release, however, is likely their One-Shot Wonders collection of single session adventures, which have had several large, successful Kickstarters, leading to the content to eventually be republished by Wizards of the Coast on D&D Beyond.

Final Thoughts

It’s great to see D&D Beyond continue to showcase new products from third-party publishers, as well as offering players some festive one shot adventures. The quality of adventures that Roll & Play Press has released over the years has been impressive, so it’s likely this new collection is worth adding to your stocking.
